All traffic signals are maintained by JRA Traffic Signals department. Some traffic signals do get decommissioned but are not deleted but just expired. (See OWN field). This database is linked to the JRA HANSEN system.
Description: Polygon GIS feature class of the eight Development Nodes and Zones identified by the Spatial Development Framework 2040, approved on November 27, 2024. this spatial layer contains a hierarchy of development zones in the City, as defined through the nodal review urban potential modelling process, namely the the Inner City Node, Metropolitan Nodes, Regional Nodes, General Urban Zone, Local Economic Development Zone, Sub-Urban Zone, Peri-Urban/Agricultural Zone, and the area beyond the Urban Development Boundary. The development guidelines outline is provided in the fields of this data, and further details can be found in the Nodal Review Policy. These nodes and zones aim to guide infrastructure investment and land-use decisions and facilitate the densification and diversification of land uses at various scales over time.
