Description: Emission sources that were identified are industrial operation that through their process activity that emits pollutants. This process fall under the control of Authorities through being recognise under Air Quality Act Section 21, Air Quality Act Section 23 and City of Johannesburg Air Quality Bylaw.The sources were identified through a walk-through exercise throughout the 7 Regions under the City of Johannesburg; interaction was done by filling of questionnaire or by observing the stacks where access was denied. Location of these facilities and the addresses were captured together with their GPS coordinates.
